Last November, The Society was contacted by the Brazilian Producer of Origens, a non-profit documentary series on science and education broadcast across eight South American countries through Novo Tempo Channel, reaching a potential audience of more than 180 million viewers.
“Fathers of Science is a season dedicated to the great names who helped transform our understanding of nature and the universe. Across 13 episodes, the series revisits their discoveries, ideas, and journeys, also exploring the relationships between science, knowledge, and faith.”
Filming for the Bacon episode took place in locations around London connected to Francis Bacon including Canonbury Tower, Gray’s Inn, The Senate House Library and the Royal Society. It aired on TV Novo Tempo in May and is now available on Origens dedicated YouTube channel: Here
